Episode 119: A Peak Into Work-Life Balance

In this episode, Luz chats with Madeline about what work-life balance means to her and the journey she took to try to figure out what kind of schedule meets her needs. Work-life balance can look very different from one person to another but the key is to figure out what your priorities are at any given time in your life and align your schedule and career to match what can give you a good balance and overall sense of fulfillment.

In this episode you will hear from:

  • Madeline, a first gen who has gone through a couple career interest changes to fine tune her work-life balance and allow her to both do fulfilling work while also allowing for flexibility to spend time with family and friends and take care of her health. After realizing that what she went to school for was much more demanding on her life than she initially anticipated, Madeline eventually realized that she needed to change her career because her work-life balance had become chaotic, unaligned with her personal values, and causing her to be miserable.
