Episode 88: With Decision Day Coming, Let’s Chat Financial Aid

In this episode, Ginny sits down with author and financial aid counselor Trae Johnson to talk about the financial aid process and FAFSA.  We all know college is expensive and many students are worried about how to pay for it.  As national decision day nears, the price of college is on many students’ minds.  I ask our resident expert Trae technical questions like what happens if my financial aid gets denied or can I appeal my financial aid?  Johnson shares the common reasons why students and their families come to visit him and what he shares with them.

A special thanks to Trae for joining me today and opening up the financial aid process.  How to pay for college is an important aspect of the college decision making process.  Trae reminds us about many important aspects of financial aid and how to get the most bang for our buck.  Remember his three takeaways: college is a business, do you really want to go to college, and finally how can you maintain your financial aid.  If you enjoyed this episode, feel free to shoot me a note on our social media.  I look forward to our next chat.
