In this episode, Norma discusses the evolution of three first generation college students on identity formation exploring the question of who am I and how college has shaped the person I am today.

In this episode you will hear from:

-High School Student Diego who defined his identity with his values of being a hard worker, intelligent, and caring for those that need it the most, which has led him to become a pre-med student at UTRGV.

-College Student Student Mayte who checked some boxes defined by society the moment her tweet about being undocumnetd went viral, but also decided to choose some of her own labels like a “trainer” based on her interest to create another side of who she has become at UT-Austin.

-Post College Student Student Veronica whose identity is a mixture of her values, the labels that society put on her, those she has chosen for herself, and the community she partakes in.
