In this episode, Norma chats with two fellow first-gens who highlight their experience being first gens in college and doing ROTC and Westpoint. One of our guests also provides helpful tips for first gen veterans.

  • Nathan who is currently enrolled in Air Force ROTC at the University of Chicago. He discusses his journey as both a college student and a cadet, and how the Armed Forces is helping him pursue his passion for scientific research.       

  • Eddie who attended two preparatory academies before joining Westpoint as a cadet. He chats about his motivation and his experiences in one of the most prestigious Academies; what he liked and disliked about the armed forces and his life as a veteran.
