In this episode Joseph chats with fellow first generation college graduate and current law school student Lacey about being resilient, staying motivated, and the impacts of having to work through each step of her educational journey and how that has shaped her first gen story.

  • College graduate Lacey, who had to work through every step of her educational journey, starting in high school and now that she’s in law school, but was able to use those experiences to develop her skills, find mentorship, and grow as a person. Although she faced several hardships along the way, she kept striving for her goals and continues to live by her motto “build great places, build great people.”
