In this episode, Norma chats with two first generation college students who had DACA and now have been able to adjust their immigration status, while continuing to serve immigrant communities in their jobs at Harvard University and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.

  • Diana came to this country from Mexico and became undocumented when she was a sophomore in college, which greatly impacted her educational journey. Now that she has been able to become a Permeant Resident, she tells us how she continues to serve other first generation undocumented students at Harvard University.  

  • Ainne who came from Pakistan, also  grew up undocumented, had DACA and now has been granted asylum status. She discusses how she has worked tirelessly to make DACA a reality and now how she leads immigration investments for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
