Zafar Brooks is a graduate of Fisk University, an HBCU, and has more than three decades of experience working in corporate America. He spent half of his time leading and executing DEI strategies at multibillion-dollar companies that serve customers globally. 

Pursuing a career in DEI can be a bit challenging. Typically, you can’t major in DEI when selecting your field of study, and breaking into the industry is even more confusing. But Zafar shares his journey to becoming a leader in DEI that can help first-generation students like him build their career paths.
